Dan, his wife and 4 kids aged 2 to 13 years old were previously living in Muriwai prior to their build, but wanted something closer to the ocean and less cramped, so they could enjoy watching their kids grow up in a healthy, fun environment.

Their dream home was built in a harsh environment, with mainly stainless-steel fixings (as it was 60 meters from the ocean) and a massive 6-meter deep site cut was undergone, to ensure the sustainability of the building.

"We have undertaken two projects now with New Wave as the builder and on both occasions have found Ben and his team very easy to work with, very consienous, accurate on price and exceptional on quality.

My initial build with New Wave was our new house which we are very delighted with in both finish and price. The boys all work tirelessly in some bleak conditions to get the house completed on time and for the budget. The finish is perfect and our family love the living in the space Ben has built.

Following on from this project was a Development in Grey Lynn, which involved a structural upgrade and re-build/conversion of a commercial space. The project was challenging at times but the New Wave team found innovative solutions to problems and keep a keen eye on the programme & finish which contributed to the project being huge success.

I would highly recommend Ben and the New Wave team to anyone looking at building big or small. The sites are always well looked after and clean, the pricing is accurate and competitive and the quality is comparable with any of the top builders around Auckland but most of all the entire process will be enjoyable."
