-Let Ben know what you need to be built, renovated or constructed. He'll then ask you some questions to get a clearer idea of your project needs.
-If he needs more information he will email you a quick questionnaire to fill in and return.
- Ben will then arrange a time to meet with you, for your FREE Design To Build Consultation.
- Once you've contacted Ben via. phone or email you'll be sent out an information pack, full of information about New Wave Construction, the team and what you can expect when working with them.
- This also has checklists to give you an idea of how they guide you through your build process and what you need to look for when choosing the right building company.
- Plus they'll throw in a few sneaky goodies to make the reading processes even more enjoyable.
- You’ll meet with our director Ben at the time and place that suits you both.
- This is where you can share with Ben your exact wish list, budget, timeline and discuss any other ideas you have (we want to learn more about your vision and dreams, so bring along your ideas, plans, sketches and magazines. Ben wants to know what’s important to you and your family).
- If you already have your plans, bring these to the meeting for Ben to review.
- In this meeting, Ben will assist you with his expert advice doing over 500 builds. He'll also share ways to add value to your project and how to make your budget go even further.
- This is your chance to ask any questions you may need to be answered.
- Ben will arrange a time to meet you on your building site (or at your home if it is a renovation project).
- If you have plans drawn invite your architect. If you don’t have plans at this stage or a section purchased New Wave have inspirational architects and real-estate agents who they work with. If needed they can organise for you to meet with at least two of each, so you can choose who you feel most understands what you want.
- Measurements will be taken where needed.
- If you have any questions, this is another opportunity to ask the experts for their advice on adding value to your project.
- At this stage, New Wave will work with your architect and point you in the right direction to develop your concept drawings into working plans.
- Generally, your design will evolve over a period of time during which you and your designer discuss, digest, think and rework ideas until the best solution is arrived at. New Wave like to be interactive during this stage recommending options from their years of practical experience. Knowledge of what has and hasn’t worked in the past can often help shape your concept drawings and stretch your budget.
- Before they move on to the next stage, they will work with you until you are satisfied that the concept drawings incorporate all the features, detail and style that you have shared with them, to make sure your home fits you perfectly.
- Once workings drawings have been finalised New Wave will provide you with a detailed quote and project plan.
- New Wave's master quoter will ensure you receive an accurate breakdown of your quote, including trade discounts and extra information you require.
- Fixed price quotes are guaranteed final numbers, but, have an added cost to allow for any unforeseen problems that may arise during your project. This can work in your favour if there is a big unknown discovered or against you if the project runs without problems.
- An estimated quote means you pay for exactly what is done. With an estimation, the price of the job can end up more or less than the estimated amount.
- Variations can be done for either type of quote, so any changes you would like to make during the project that incurs extra time and cost will be discussed with you beforehand so you can make an informed decision.
- A contract will be sent out to you in advance so you can read it in your own time.
- Ben will meet you to discuss any points you would like to clarify.
- This is another opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
- Signing of the contract, once you’re happy with it.
- A time frame for your project will be discussed.
- A detailed schedule will help your job run seamlessly. A timeline is created detailing the order of work to be done and the timeframe for each part of the process. This will be updated as the job progresses.
- HazardCo signs and plans are put into place where need be.
- The New Wave Construction 100 Point Quality Assurance Checklist is followed at all times, so even the smallest details in your build are checked to ensure your project is built to the highest standard.
